As we sit in the darkened theatre and watch the curtain rise, we see amazing things transpiring upon the stage. Instead of the artistic endeavours of the past three thousand years of human culture, we see the bickering infantilism of ‘reality television’. Instead of the cohesive power and pride of the human spirit in its ability to transcend difference, we see torture’s use rationalized as a legitimate tool in the new war of terror. Instead of the projection of the hero and his or her mythic quest for self actualization, the hero is sneered at, and we are presented, instead, with the anti-hero as a model for behaviour – fools, puppet presidents, and countless examples of callow, snivelling adults stumbling through their meaningless lives in Fox sitcoms. We see news panel show hosts that no longer know if the world is flat or round, and beauty pageant contestants that wouldn’t be able to find America on a map of America, much less the world. Although, perhaps she could be forgiven for this mistake, given that there is so very little of it left.

At the urging of top conservative bloggers, the White House set up a Friday morning conference call to promote its message on the subject of executive privilege, RAW STORY has found.
Friday morning’s conference call was not the first time the White House has promoted its message to bloggers. According to conservative blogger Robert Bluey, the Bush White House convened bloggers on the phone to speak about avian flu in 2006, and on Iraq at the beginning of the 110th Congress in January.
“…the President cannot be subpoenaed, and neither can his advisers, who do not require Congressional confirmation to serve,” the Bush official was reported to have said. “The President has the power to order them to keep silent about their advisory activities.”

Well, they’re at it again.
The History Channel, which is owned 37.5% by Disney, 37.5% by Hearst Publishing and 25% by NBC (which is owned by General Electric, a big military industrial complex player) aired a hit piece against the 9/11 Truth Movement.
The documentary was full of lies, fallacies, mis-statements, hacked-up video clips, and color and video morphing.
But thankfully people are being more sophisticated these days and aren’t believing all the lies that the MSM is giving to them.
